The last guy introduces something new to the gaming community, but the content is simply not enough.

User Rating: 7 | The Last Guy PS3
PSN games are short and fun games, without a doubt, The Last Guy is. Using satelite images, you walk through alleys and streets to find survivors and bring them back to a safe zone awaiting rescue.

Gameplay:
You play as the Last Guy, who is actually someone willing to rescue people around the globe. The cities are surrounded with zombies, ur objective is to rescue the minimum amt. of people in a limited time.

When you recruit people, they line up behind you, the more the people, ur stamina bars increases more. But more people would meant a longer queue, when a zombie spots you, its easier to cut off ur line sending people back into nearby buildings.

The variations of the game is the environment, and also different types of zombies, some runs faster than others, some blinds you etc. As you proceed along, the game gets even harder.

The controls are fairly simple, not a problem there. But i myself felt the game didn't had enough variations, only zombie, and nothing about the gameplay, could he have a car? or a bicycle? perhaps something that makes the way u recue people different. And the difficulty is actually quite a problem, i had to redo some missions, sometimes when u recruit a thousand people and they get dispersed, no way can u win, because recruit people back into ur line takes a lot of time.

Graphics:
Satelite images is what u get, but when you zoom in, the resolution remains the same, meaning you will see the image being blurry and not hi-def at all. Sometimes the maps will appear so small you can't see much of nearby zombies.

Overall the graphics is just average. It will look good as long as you don't zoom in.

Sound:
Other than shouting of the crowds and some zombie noises, there's also the music. I don't really like the music, it feel wacky and repititive especially the music that broadcasts when u complete a mission.

If you want to have something to play with, The Last Guy would satisfy you, until the difficulty get ridiculously high that it becomes more of a trial and run gaming experience.
