I would like to start that this game is not for everyone. The start is very slow, the story develops very slow through several puzzles, one next the other.
This game feels that is very well directed. The scenes are very well polished. The link between the boy and TICO is very well developed during the game.
I don´t have any pet, but this game made me feel that TICO was an actual pet to me. I wanted to take care of him/her given the way the game progress in time. The sense of attachment was perfectly created.
The game is not perfect at all, there are some cons like the graphics are not perfect, the camera has some issues through the game are sometimes frustrating puzzle that makes you loss several minutes in the same place. However, any cons impact the experience of the game.
This is the kind of game that you connect and when finished stays in you head for days. The Ending is truly emotional, the score perfectly fits the game pace.
Make sure of stay put after the ending, there is a very important part to watch with great soundtrack. Truly masterpiece.
The game took me like 13 hours to be beaten. Only a couple of trophies were obtained. It is needed a couple of play though to get most of the trophies. It is one that you have to beat the game in less of 5 hours to get it, other that you don´t have to die no even one time. That seems very challenging. However, this game would mind to be played through that least another two times more.
For me, game of the year along Uncharted. Highly recommended. My advice are: 1) Be patient, it takes time to get used to it, 2) enjoy the soundtrack, 3) play when having time, don´t be rush in order to enjoy the attachment development.
