The Incredibes is a fun game, with good graphics, hard bosses and just plain fun gameplay.

User Rating: 8.5 | Disney/Pixar The Incredibles PC
It may be a T game, but if you're lucky, it can be a great childhood game. I got the game back in 2004 or 2005, and I LOVED it. At first I didn't have any opinion except "THIS MUSIC IS AWESOME." Enough of my old times with this game...

Gameplay - 9/10
The gameplay is almost incredible. In the first level, you find yourself on top of buildings as Mr. Incredible. Mr. Incredible doesn't seem too fun as he only has super strength, but with creative minds you can really go somewhere with super strength alone. The first thing you see in the level is Bomb Voyage in his helicopter, flying by, and you see some Henchmen on a bridge. To "dissect" the Mr. I gameplay, this is one of those games where the longer you hold the spacebar, the higher you jump. There is a long range of different movements and attacks, such as a simple punch, an Incredi-Punch, and ground pound, etc. Also, if you crouch, and jump while crouching, you will jump very high, but you can't move forward very much. Beating up enemies is incredibly fun, and very easy, so you don't have to worry much about frustration, except for some robots and stuff. In the next level, you are Elastigirl, I don't remember much of her moves but she is far more agile than Mr. Incredible. She has the ability to swing, fling enemies into other enemies, and she has long range attacks. Dash is not all that fun, his only levels involve some twist to the free roam, in his main levels, all you can do is get somewhere in a time limit, and the level "Incrediball" you are controlling a ball of Violet's energy. As for Violet, she has no attacks and her only ability is to turn invisible temporarily to sneak past enemies. For bosses, I think they are way too hard, such as the Omnidroid 9000, it is constantly throwing stuff at you, and I forgot how to beat it. My only memories of other things besides the Omnidroid is stuff like huge robot tanks in a small arena, and you have to throw stuff at it. I could go play the Gamecube version on my Wii to go see more, but I'm too lazy. :P

Graphics - 8/10
The graphics are very good and realistic, such as the water on Nomanisan Island, the calm water is see-through and the river waters are very thick light blue. Even the hair is fairly good.

Sound - 9/10
The sound is very good, sometimes loud, but it is very good, some of it is unrealistic, like Mr. Incredible's steps being loud clicks.

Music - 10/10
The music is utterly amazing. Just amazing. And for once, a movie to game game's music style stays true to the movie.

Replay Value - 6/10
The replay value isn't much, unless playing a minigame seperate from the plot counts as replay value. The only main-game replay value is looking for bonus items, which are just blue i's with red dots on top and red rings around them. Other than that, there's just an unlockable battle mode where you fight endless waves of each type of enemy, including the bomb launchers.

Overall - 8.5/10
The gameplay is just amazing. I could go on for hours about how much I like it, but that would make this review annoying. The gameplay takes a while to get bored of. The graphics are fairly good, and they raise my rate. The sound is very good, and the voices are the same as the movie. The music is just... Epic. And the replay value brings down my rating.

In the end, I recommend this to the type who doesn't mind what the game is based on, as long as it's a brawler game AND I recommend this game to Incredibles and Superhero fans.
