So I'm a little late in putting in my two-cents for this old Marvel make. But after noticing the disturbing sequel to this awesome game, I have to come back and admire it for all it's glory. This might be the only Marvel game that's ever gone so far as to provide any sort of continuous motivation for game play. When I mentioned it was a guilty pleasure, I meant it. I can't remember how many times I snatched this game from my home to go hang out with my buddy and play it all night long after a frustrating day with parents, school, and the like. When your pissed off, this is a game to play. Tossing hulk busters about like an acrobat, jumping, and sliding up, down, and around skyscrapers, crushing tanks, nailing choppers out of the air with their own medicine, and giving innocent bystanders a pat on the head, or a boot to the behind; this game praises destruction, as it's title signifies. The story is acceptable, and though some missions are rather difficult, they can be overcome with some patience and some well earned skill sets which are available by the numbers. The graphics did the job for previous-generation consoles, but being a person to often overlook graphics for game structure and over all fun, that doesn't say much. All in all this is a definite stress-reliever and one I happily set next to my assortment of alternative anger management tools. If you haven't played it, you won't ever know what a hulk game really is.
