When you make a game about The Hulk, all you want to do is smash stuff up and destroy almost anything in your path, right? Of course you do. Hence the name, Ultimate Destruction. The gameplay is focused around, well whadaya know, Ultimate Destruction!! No longer will you play as Bruce Banner doing his stealth crap, *ahem*Hulk*ahem* but you will play as, wait for it.......THE INCREDIBLE HULK! Your ability to cause massive destruction and total mayhem is, well, kinda fun to do, as you can do insane things like run up the sides of buildings, jump great distances, and ultimately, blow stuff up. Which is, I might add, REALLY FUN TO DO!!! The neat thing about it is that every time you do combos, special moves, cause massive pain to your enemies, etc. you earn "smash points", which can be used to buy even more moves and abilities to make their lives a living hell. You can also revisit a certain level to earn smash points, or to just.....well, you know what i'm getting at. The graphics, not that good. But when your looking at buildings blowing up and tanks and copters explode into pieces, you can't help but love watching it all come down. The sound is, in a way, alright. While the explosions and such sound great, some parts of the voice acting is kinda.....well, bad. While it may not hurt the game THAT much, it would've been nice to hear them get a LITTLE bit more excited about how there gonna try and kill you and whatnot. Overall, I can't understand why this game hasn't come out sooner. It's teeming with intense, hardcore action that, Hulk fanatics or not, gamers will no doubt have a hell of a time with Ultimate Destruction.
