If you have a light gun for your xbox then this is really a must have game for you.

House of the Dead 3 is a favourite in the arcades, and this xbox version is a completely faithful translation. The graphics are detailed and the all important gore-factor is there, and the gameplay is fast an furious. The bad guys are the usual run of the mill shoot the weak spot, but you knew that would be the case already - didn't you?

If you do not own a light gun then i'm really not sure what you are doing playing this game, but if you are the proud owner of one (or even better two) pump action style light guns then you will have hours of fun with your friends blasting the hell out of the living dead.

Sure the story is a bit ropey and certainly nothing that engaging, but the aim of the game is to shoot everything, not get engrossed in a complex narrative. To add even more value to this package the prequel House of the Dead 2 is included as an unlockable bonus, and so you get two quite different but very good blasters for the price of one. There are also plenty of unlockables and bonuses to get, which certainly add value.

If you are a fan of light gun games and you actually do own a light gun, then i can guarantee you will not be disappointed with this title.
