This game has nothing to offer even history fans such as myself. I purchased the game maily because I enjoy history and strategy, and civil war games have been hard to come by. However, I was extreamly disappointed by every aspect of the game. It's not fun, it's not pretty to look at, it's not worth the few bucks I payed for it. The strategy is too simple, much like checkers, and the tactical battles are cheap and uninspired. I played an original Nintendo game called North and South and that game was much better than this. I hate to say it, but the History Channel's civil war game is a dismal failure.
