The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Skyrim is what most people expected it to be. That can be good or definitelly not.

In my opinion games should be fun to play, that is with dynamic gameplay, with exciting combat, daunting enemies that are hard to kill, not because they have huge HP pools but because they can counter your moves, etc.

Skyrim is exactly the same as the two previous games of the series, a open world RPG with dumbed down combat and repetitive quests with a overly used story.

To be honest this game is only successful because the high modding potential it has.

Graphically the game is not the jump Oblivion was to the year it was released. Most games nowadays have far better 3D modeling than Skyrim. The character model customization has even fewer options than Oblivion. The animations are terrible they move very unrealistic.

If only it had a combat like in Kingdom of Amalur the game would be a blast.
