AWESOME GAME!

User Rating: 9.5 | The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion PC
awesome game, seriously i would recommend this game to anyone. the scope of this game is truly impressive. you are immersed in a HUGE other world. after starting you will emerge near the capital city. most likely you will make your way to the imperial prison area. right away you will realize the impressive ai in this game as charachters, guards and others will react to you in all types of ways. including attacking and killing you for breaking any law.

then you will likely venture out into the huge wilderness, or pursue the quest line. you will find the combat to be exiting, with great controls and great action game type fighting that is really fun. the weapons are well balanced as is the magic and everything else in this game. the monsters are exellent sporting great graphics and sound effects and animations and variable attacks.

theres plenty of quests to do. many have great rewards many have garbage rewards. you will find that many times you can acquire a awesome item or even traveling companions just by not finishing a quest or finishing the quest differently. to any one quest there are many outcomes, which is really impressive. the weapons and armor are close to perfect. the skill system is well done and it is fun to raise your skill levels. many ppl have critisized this game for level-based enemies and loot. however i felt this kept the game challenging. and it made me play the game alot longer as in order to become badass i had to play until i was lvl 40. which took a long time. giving this game incredible play value. better yet i enjoyed playing it for the whole time.

awesome graphics. many things to do including collecting mushrooms etc, very deep gameplay and many skills to master! when you master a skill you are rewarded by becoming better overall at that skill providing a good incentive to improve. sneak skill was super fun to use.

great spell system. many many spells and effects, and schools of magic. really well done and well balanced.

the worst part is its over!

the only negatives i have are well... i would have preferred a little more distinction in the dungeons and the world... more uniqueness. the game world was a bit too large i think and made it difficult to hand craft everything i know. but still i wouldve preferred less repetition and less randomness in the game. the game world couldve been 60% smaller and still been huge. smaller world and more unique areas would be the ****

the oblivion gates were not that compelling and they were repetitive. i ended up just going invisible and running past all the enemies. plus it was kind of bizarre the whole story.

"reflect damage" items need to go.reflect damage 100%, chameleon 100% ruin the game and make it too easy.

more high lvl items to search for, with multiple effects. items that are better than you can create with the enchanter.

overall minor complaints in a really enjoyable game.

anyways that is my review thank youfor reading.
