The rare case where quantity and quality are met in huge number, but delivered in frighteningly enormous spoonfuls

User Rating: 9 | The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion X360
Oblivion is a wonderful game.
The gameplay is fun and innovative; combat is straightforward and with a learning curve, and is totally immersive in First-Person.

Graphics are spectacular even though they aren't current; the lighting and shading is marvelous and makes everything look great.

Story is unbelievably deep and involving, and there is a seemingly infinite number of quests.

The problem?
Oblivion is so enormous, there is so much to do, and so much to see, it can intimidate a casual FPS player into quitting.
It is just remarkable how much raw content is actually here to enjoy, that one could easily have a brain orgasm and stop playing.

A very, very, very worthwhile purchase, especially for the mere $15 it's selling for used at Gamestop, if you'll put the TIME into it.
If not, and you're looking for immediate action, please look elsewhere, because you will feel bad for not willing yourself to play this masterpiece of a single-player RPG.
