Hands down the best game of 2006, and possibly the best game ever!

User Rating: 9.8 | The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion X360
When I bought this game, I wasn't sure how it would be. I had never played an Elder Scrolls game before, and I wasn't too big of an RPG fan. It got amazing ratings from everywhere, so I thought I would check it out. I spent countless hours searching every part of the game. I just simply could not put it down.

You start out by making a character. It dives deep into classifications and appearance to make it almost impossible to make 2 characters just alike. Of course, each race, class, etc. has different pros and cons. You start out in prison, and the emperor looks for a safe passage out which happens to be in your jail cell. The emperor dies and gives you the Amulet of Kings. You go around doing quests associated with this amulet including closing all of these Oblivion Gates. These are basically gates to Hell...Just imagine the fun you can have in Hell. Anyway, you don't have to do the main quest. You can join the Dark Brotherhood(you kill people for money), the Thieves Guild(you steal stuff for money), and the Fighter's and Mage's Guilds. These each have their own campaigns which you receive achievement points for. Of course, you don't have to do these either. I actually made a file where all i did was kill people and steal stuff. I just wanted to how high my bounty could get.

Each race has its ups and downs like I mentioned earlier. Each has their major and minor skills. This decides the weapon you use such as marksmanship is a bow and blade is a sword. Some races have higher magicka allowing you to use more skills more often. It's a very complex system in which you would probably look into before you choose.

The graphics and sound are decently good. Some of the character models are a bit odd looking as in they look stupid. Aside from that, all the technical stuff is superb.

Anyone can play this game no matter what kind of game they are into. It is virtually endless, and you can basically do anything. This game is a must have for all Xbox 360 owners.
