One of the best PC RPGs of all time!

User Rating: 9.5 | The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind - Game of the Year Edition PC
Graphics 9/10
The graphics for Morrowind are outstanding. There are very little flaws to see. Scenery wise, It is extremely good for its time, The different weather conditions like rainfall and sandstorms enhance the experience, exceeding the expectations of fans and critics alike. The only problem is the faces. The faces of the characters (especially male)
Are horrendous. You would see better faces in Kingdom Hearts than Morrowind, and its only a year younger than this. Other than that, you won't find a better graphics department in 2002.

Gameplay 7/10
This is the worst department in Morrowind.
(Notice how its still a high score?) Fans of Skyrim and Oblivion cringe at the battle system. (Which is the only problem)
Sword, projectile, and magic accuracy is by dice roll (No actual dice D:) It doesn't matter how good stats you have combat wise, you are at the mercy of fate when it comes to accuracy. Controlling your character is a slow but fun experience, many of the characters you meet on the road and in town have a story of they're own, which is good. You can get many quests from these NPCs, but be warned, once you make them mad, you better sheathe that pretty little sword of yours, and hope they only sheathe a dagger. Oh, and don't kill essential storyline characters until your done with them.

Controls N/A
The controls for this game are not rateable, You will have to see for yourself, everyone has a different preference.

Storyline 8/10
The storyline starts in a prison ship,
you are near your Dunmer (Dark Elf) Bunk-mate named Jiub who wakes you from your dream. You soon find out that you are a courier for Emperor Urial Septim VII (Name sound familiar :3) You also find out that you are an Incarnate of an ancient Dunmer hero and must save the province of Morrowind from chaos.
Once you create your character, and get your class and starsign. You will get the main quest, and the freedom of side-quests, and factions. (Ignorable of course...Thank you Bethesda :3)
Although the story isn't that memorable, you will still have alot of fun with it!

Verdict 9.5/10
Overall, Morrowind is a excellent game. Great graphics, decent battle system, and A LOT of freedom. If you are a major fan of open-world RPGs, get Morrowind for your collection. Bethesda has done an extraordinary job with this game, Morrowind will remain a classic, and will always be known as the game that gave Bethesda a permanent place in gaming history.
