A RIDDICKulously innovative game that just isn't appreciated to its fullest.

Why do so few people have this game? Because the film is crap. Had the film been good, this would've been a top-seller. But a crap film makes a crap game -- we've seen it time and time again -- and films in general make crap games (don't worry GoldenEye 007 and King Kong, you are exceptions).

But this game is hands-down the best film-to-game to date. It's a bold statement, and i love GoldenEye 007 to bits but i'm happy to say a film-based game has eclipsed it. If you enjoy shooting games, action games, adventure games, fighting games and/or stealth games, this is like your dream come true.

The game is awesome in all respects. The visuals are amazing (even judging by today's standards for the XBox), the sound is matched on the system only by Half-Life 2, the gameplay rocks harder than you dare dream and the story/atmosphere is compelling.

I have to admit that i come under the people mentioned in the first paragraph -- i thought the game would suck. But i saw it for £8 at GAME (yes, £8 for a jewel like this) and thought i'd give it a go. It must've been fate that us two be brought together, as this is one of the best games i've played on the Xbox or otherwise. I've completed the game on all difficulties and i just wish there was multiplayer. That's the only downside. Multiplayer would've been awesome -- be it co-op, split-screen, system link or online, this game would've kicked ass. But hey, you can't have everything, right?
