Its Bugs Bunny's birthday and his friends have invited him for his own birthday party.

User Rating: 6.5 | The Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout NES
Why would Bugs be invited to his birthday party by his friends? Anyway...

Story: Bugs receives an invitation from his friends inviting him to a birthday party for his birthday. At the same time they try to prevent him from attending it. Wile E. Coyote is the only smart one in the game. As you read the story you'll find out why.

Graphics: For a NES game the graphics are really good. Some levels had pretty good graphics design like the third world.

Gameplay: You go through many levels to reach your own birthday party. Yet, you're not late. Your friends try to stop you from going there and even try to kill you. Don't say you weren't warned.

Ok so its quite similar to Mario style platforming. Press A button to jump and B button to attack with the hammer. The hammer is the only way to get rid of the enemies. You could also stand on an enemy's head and swing the hammer sending him flying far away. If he bumps into any other enemies they all die. Sweet!

If you get hurt Bugs gets stars on top of his head. Your health is indicated by the heart on the top left corner of the screen. The red heart turns black black becomes transparent and then you die. That's how you lose health when you walk into enemies.

To avoid enemies you can hide in the bushes. This can also be done in the annoying Tweety boss fights.

Finally after you've completed the game....guess what? You made it! Happy Birthday? All your friends are there greeting you. They played funny tricks on you...hahahahaha what a joke...wait a minute they tried to kill you! Oh well...happy birthday Bugs!

Music: The music is decent.

Sound: The sounds are pretty good.

Overall: Its a game worth playing. I didn't think it was that bad. I actually liked it.
