Good game for those who like story lines, but just a decent game for those who like a lot of gameplay.

The Bouncer is an all brawn, no brain fighting game that mostly comes off as a movie with fighting cut-scenes in it. Though the game can be beat in a few hours, most of the time spent by the player will be in watching the game, rather than playing it. The fighting system is rather nice and the ability to level up your players adds an extra element to this fighting game.
As has come to be expected of Square-Soft, The Bouncer has a fairly interesting story line. However, game play for the Bouncer was simply average. Though there are some elements (such as an alternate ending scene) that add some excitement, The Bouncer is mostly just a straight forward fighting game. I give it about a 6 out of 10 for a nice storyline and decent graphics/gameplay.
