"The Bible Game isnt a party game you will enjoy for long time ..."

User Rating: 6 | The Bible Game PS2
While there are many bible and Christian games on the market, sadly almost all of them share the same fate. Boring gameplay and not much entertainment for all audiences.

Technically, The Bible Game is a trivia based game and therefore, the central subject, is limited to the classic TV question and answersgame that makes you search for a better score while answering correct questions. Sometimes you are even able to send some plagues and curses to the other players and steal or reduce their points.

Anyway, like any family game, the amount of fun depends much on the number of people who play the game with you, So if you plan to play the game alone for a long time you are more than destined to get tired of the game for the few ammount of minigames and options, and this may be one of the critical flaws, the game has only two important options, Tv Party and minigames

Graphics are not of the best ones but you "could" defend this flaw with the family oriented - more kid oriented - theme.

Music is another weak point in the game, from a very impartial view, it seems music designers forgot to compose and just used a tape to play the gospels. You may enjoy the music for some tiime but it doesnt really fit any of the minigames you play.

Outside the technical aspect, The Bible Game gives a limited context of BibleĀ“s word, with interesting questions that vary according to the degree of difficulty, the mini games are attached to the writings and so are the questions of the trivia. However, the lack of greater ideas in the mini games and the mainly familiar context in which the games theme moves, limits enough the aspects that could have been recreated,

At the end, the Bible game could make you play fun for a while, but its limited options, lack of design and music, and too few minigames will make you feel bored after a time. Specially if you consider there were and are many better party games.
