This Halloween Flashback!?! Looking 15 years in the past and still trying to figure out these darn puzzles!!!

WOW! I haven't played this game since I was 14. Now I'm a hardcore gamer and back then, I didn't care to much for point and click. More kill, Kill, KILL! Well now it's 15 years later! I got this game here on Ebay for a great deal, and decided to give it another shot, even though it took me a couple hours to get it running on VISTA. Anyway, I remember getting the sh** scared out of me, now? not so much. Games like Silent Hill and of course Resident Evil ruined it I guess. Graphics back then were the best I've seen. Now-not so much. PUZZLES!!! Now that's what this game has. I used to quit games where I had to solve puzzles. Now I'm pushing 30 and we (as gamers) don't see puzzles like that anymore. Even though the MIDI-like music and the once scary, but not anymore atmosphere gets in the way, the puzzles are an extreme challenge. Now it's more like a virtual crossword puzzle. If we could just get the kids away from Gears of War and into more puzzle oriented games, maybe just maybe, we would have fewer teenager related deaths and/or violence. But that's just wishful thinking!!! BUT-no worries, I'll be waiting for you kids on xbox live!!!!
