A very solid Texas Hold 'Em poker game that will provide hours of online fun.

The card game Texas Hold 'Em itself is very addictive. Anyone who has played the poker game in real life knows just how fun it can be. The question here is whether or not the XBox Live Arcade version of the card game is a version worth playing or not.

To put it simply, yes. If you are looking for a multiplayer card game, and is sick of stalking the Uno tables for hours on end, then you owe it to yourself to go to the Marketplace this instance and buy this game (or if you were lucky, you downloaded it during the 48 hour period after it's release when it was free). The gameplay can only be described as "solid". The only reason I'm not using a more descriptive word is because you're actual opinion of the game may be based on the pace that you like.

If you like fast paced online poker gaming, you should probably look elsewhere. The pace of the online scene can be pretty slow at times, especially if you get stuck at a table where people take their sweet time in placing their bets and such. The single player pace is quite faster, and allows you to build up your bankroll offline.

Which brings me to this game's best feature. If you play recklessly, then you'll lose a large chunk of your bankroll and will be forced to play in the lesser tables to build it back up. That feature will likely weed out those who try to go All In everytime, and will make for a much more enjoyable game for those elite players who get to the high end tables.

Overall, I'd highly recommend "Texas Hold 'Em" to anyone that enjoys playing or watching the game in real life. You probably won't be disappointed if you take a chance on it.
