Dude! It's Tetris!
Dude! It's Tetris. Nintendo decided to make Tetris into a DS game featuring a blast from the past; 8-bit Nintendo characters. This game features Mario, Yoshi, Link, and more.
There are different modes to play. Standard, which is classic Tetris. Make lines. In exact, 200 lines. Everytime you make 10 lines, the level goes up, which makes the lines go down quicker.
Mission mode. You have an objective, and you have to complete it before you run out of hearts. If you run out, then you get new blocks.
Push mode. You have to make lines to push your opponent to the bottom to win.
Touch mode. This is a puzzle mode, where you have to use the touch screen to move around blocks. Tap the blocks to rotate them(on levels 4 and 5 you can't rotate.)
Puzzle. You have a select amount of blocks, and you have to eliminate all the blocks with what you have.
You can play wirelessly or even online. You can play Mission, Standard, and Push mode multiplayer. The goal is to eliminate the other player of course.
Tetris DS is a good and addictive game. There are different modes and there is a multiplayer and online mode. And hey, it's Tetris! There aren't really any downsides.
This game gets a 7.5 out of 10 with the title of Good.
