This game is a work of brilliance,captures the banger racing feel to perfection,career is fun and multiplayer is immense
The game features a 20/25 hour long career mode which is great fun when as mentioned before you can capture the spirit of the sport. The variety of races helps to keep you interested.
The arcade mode can be thrilling, especially if you have a mate there to play with you, it becomes addictive and very competitive, as it is quite compatible to "pick up and play" (the controls are fairly simple and if you're not a racer you can just go around smashing cars up and trying to ruin your mates race!) If you don't have a companion then there is still all those different cars and race types to get excited about which will keep a diehard enterained for quite a while.
I really can't speak of many negatives when reviewing this game, with the exception of the chicken shooting game mode which really isn't what this game is all about!
Overall this is one of the top 5 games I have played so far in my lifetime, this is why I have given it a 10 out of 10. I may have an Xbox 360 now but I would go back to this game at any time. My tied favourite PS2 game along with GTA San Andreas.
Also, I hope this review is up to scratch as it is my first one so I hope you will not judge me too harshly as I will review more games and I should improve as I do.
