Frustrating is Kind

User Rating: 3 | Terraria PC
This game has to be for those that sit at work and play these types of games in a window rather than doing their job... I say this because knowing how bad work can be, this can't seem that bad in comparison, this is the only explanation I can come up with anyone rating this crap better than a 3.

I've played better games of this type on the Atari and Amiga over 20 year ago... this game is So bad all I can say if you play this thing, you are clearly easily amused.

There is No instructions, there is No indication what to do, the "guide" NPC was so useless as to be a cruel joke, the farming is tedious and frustrating with constant blob attacks, the crafting and building is a mystery to a newbie resulting in nighttime and an endless onslaught of eyes and zombies... and deaths, many deaths... until the sun rises and then you again try to figure out how to build a house before the sun sets.

If you dig yourself into a hole trying to figure out what to do, by the time you figure out how to escape this hole night sets in and you are rained upon by zombies and eyes that zero in on you... then you die or sit in a corner or hole swinging your pick (i.e. clicking your mouse button wildly) until the sun rises, such fun.

I can get by the 70's graphics, the 80's beeps & boops, but to offer No tutorial, No introduction and an endless stream of annoying creatures to make learning impossible without dying over & over... and over, is just unforgivable.

I am so sorry I plonked down 10 bucks for this 'game' rather than buying Anything else.
