GRIN royally messed this franchise up

User Rating: 4 | Terminator Salvation PC
I've just played the first 2 chapters of this title at a friend's place who got it on the x360.

When I saw that GRIN was developing this title. I paused for a second and pondered. Would they make another Wanted weapons of fate. To my horrific surprise, we were treated to almost the same thing. Just plug and play. Like taking terminator characters and plugging them into the game. I was practically holding my breath on this one. (Hoping that they didn't take a well renown, highly successful series and ruin it or change my impression of it).

The opening video looked good and terminator models are ok. The in game cut scenes are unacceptable. Some resemble PSone quality cut scenes. The environment textures are PS2 quality. With that being said, Weapons, character details are passable. On that note when you compare the environment graphics to older titles such as GTAiv and Gears of War 1,2. This game simply will not measure up not even with a head start. Please note, there is no such thing is free roam in this game. It's extremely linear. No curves whatsoever. Meaning to say point A to point B. It fails in terms of game dynamics. Each time you're getting used to the action, the developers must throw in some cutscene which is highly disruptive. Play(Rent) it and you'll know what I mean.

Now, I was going to get it for the PC but really thankful that I tested it out first. This is definately not worth the money and time. I dare say that I would be able to come up easily with a more entertaining game than this one. GRIN has does injustice to the series and it is clear that this game was rushed. No multiplayer and a terrible story equates to (Almost non existent story line, plot or character development).
3 hours to complete? Not shocked because Like I said, Wanted also suffered from this. I guess GRIN thought it was a good idea and retained it.

I'm going to henceforth boycott all Grin games in the future. GRIN, you ought to be ashamed of yourselves. My personal message to GRIN is stay out of making video games. ( You can't do it ). Lastly, it's absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional rolling out a game with installation errors. It clearly shows what sort of people are working in there, their mentality, their lack of interest and terrible work attitude. I speak for those who have played it and felt that way.
