With its low price you get a 3D/2D movie and 2 (mostly) DLC content. It's throwback and nod to the future. 7.5/10

Some games, like this, make you pay almost the premium for games that you may have already owned just so they can be played upgraded in HD. In the case of Tekken Hybrid, it's slightly different.

In essence Hybrid is the recent 3D CGI film Tekken: Blood Vengeance, a pretty film mind you that makes no sense but it involves a genetically altered boy and characters from the series. A nice feature of the movie is the ability to just turn 3D off and on. If anyone had doubts of watching the film on regular HDTV then your concerns are pretty much put to rest right there.

As a tie in to the movie, four characters, Devil Jin, Devil (Kazuya), Ling Xiaoyu & Alisa in their costumes from the film, make their appearance in the demo Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Prologue. Compared to Tekken 6 this looks like the upgrade everyone wanted and didn't get. The game while featuring only four characters and 3 modes strangely comes with trophies.

For the big game TTT HD, it's essentially the game everyone played on PS2 just with increased resolution. Like Prologue this also comes with trophies so anyone who would like to increase their numbers these are the games. I think the only thing this game doesn't have that it's PS2 counterpart does is the option for Arcade music.

All and all the game works as a throwback to the old trilogy with a nod to the future. If the future will bring Tekken fans games that look like TTT2 then we will all be in for a treat.
