Long story short. I think Tekken Revolution as F2P is best move since Tekken 3 and TTT(1st) was released.
You will get 8 playable characters on the begining, another 4 is randomly unlocked with gift point earned through arcade or vs wins.
Game gives loads of motivation through coin system and lvling up as follows :
1st ) Coins or tickets, that let you play arcade or online vs, spawns over time , and has max capacity are 2 for arcade and 5 for vs. Entering mode takes coin as it was looong time ago on oldschool machines.
Once you loose arcade battle or vs you cant continue or rematch, and coin is lost :D
From time to time you may win Premium Ticket for certain Gift point level., Premiums work like coins but EXP earned is increased 3 times, and you WILL gonna Fight well using it.
2nd) You can level up in two ways : stats of your fav character in three main categories strenght , endurance (hp) , vigor ( critic chance and rage chance ) and DAN
Once in a while in vs match, you and your opponent may have a chance for DAN fight. DAN despite of your character level, may decrease if you loose some dan fight in a row, and you will know if You are going to defend title or fight for higher rank. Players on high DAN rank may be considered of beeing on winning steak or having high win/lose ratio.
Last time there was additional Event Mode Mokujin Rush,: winning series of battles with various conditions, gave you serious gift poins,G-s, end Exp boost.
PS Store: - lets you buy Tickets to enter both arcade or vs mode as many time as you want, but for a $$.
- stat reset item lets you restat your characters.
- buy characters or costumes.
Nice and simple formula, benefits players with their main heros on start, but with a bit of luck you will get your fav character quickly.
