My first experience with Tekken for the PS One was bad, I mean it was so darn difficult and frustrating to lose round after round, but somehow I stuck onto it for the cut scenes and this is how I got through Tekken 1 and 2. Tekken 3 & Tag was awesome and then there was Tekken 4 (somewhat OK, main problem being Jin's changed style), in Tekken 5 however Namco got it's act together and adding character customization used by Virtua Fighter and easier gameplay it more than satisfied die hard tekken fanatics.(No we don't mind Jin this time---we've got Devil Jin). The storyline will definitely get you through all 32 characters in the blink of an eye which is why people will buy Dark Resurrection when it's out. Like VF Evolution Tekken 5 pits you against AI's and there are ranks but that's the only added bonus other than Jin's mini-game. Do me a favour don't compare Soul Cal with Tekken : ) .
