Tekken 5 is easily the best fighting game for Playstation 2.

Tekken 4 was great for me, but a disappointment for some of the series's fans. Tekken 5 makes the disappointed fans forget with amazing graphics, top notch gameplay, finally good musics and the biggest fighter roster ever in Tekken with 30 characters. Tekken 5's graphics are amazingly good looking for PS2 on par with Gran Turismo 4. The characters look great and the background scenery looks awesome especially in "Moonlight Wilderness" where the moon glows bright in a dark forest area where a black castle can be seen. The gameplay is pure greatness with easily mastered controls that are a big part of Tekken's gameplay's charm. After Tekken 4's almost horrible musics, Tekken 5 sounds really good with fitting musics that can actually be listened to. They can't compare to the masterpiece tunes of Tekken 1, 2 and 3, but they're still a big improvement. Tekken 5 starts in Hon-Maru building where Kazuya and Heihachi wake up after both of them being defeated by Jin. A black helicopter from G-Corporation sends lots of Jack 4-robots into the building and Kazuya and Heihachi fight them off. However, Kazuya turns his back on Heihachi and sends him to the Jacks. One of the Jack explodes and Heihachi is presumed dead. That is not true, of course. Heihachi's not dead. Tekken 5's modes include the traditional Story Mode, new Arcade Mode where the player can earn G's and use them to customize Tekken characters, Time Attack, Survival, Team Battle, 2 Player and the mode that replaces Tekken Force called Devil Within. You can only play with Jin in Devil Within. It's a fun mode, but can get boring really soon. It is more free roaming than Tekken Force and it strongly resembles action adventure. Tekken 5 is easily the best fighting game for PS2. And that's the truth.
