The ultimate fighting-related video game.

User Rating: 10 | Tekken: Dark Resurrection PSP
Ok, 85% of the reason why i bought a Playstation Portable was this game. After playing hours and more hours of the amazing Tag Tournament and Tekken 5, i realised that i can't leave this game out of my collection... And it was worth it!

To get started, do read my Tekken 5 review. Here are the good things:

+Graphics 9.5 / 10.0
The PSP screen is better than i thought. This game looks REALLY good in every way. At least for it's time, 2006. Still does.

+Gameplay 9.8 / 10.0
The PSP slim/lite d-pad is also a LOT better than i thought. The buttons are so close to each other that it's really nice to make the moves. Some moves don't always come out when you want, but it's still very precise. However, do NOT play with the analog stick. It sucks in Tekken.

+Modes / Content 9.8 / 10.0
Everything you need in a Tekken game is here. (yeah, Tekken Force is not welcome) The regulars: Story mode, Arcade mode, Survival, Time attack and ofcourse the perfect practice mode. That's not all, however- You may remember the masterpiece from the Tag days: Tekken bowl is "back by popular demand". As i said in my TTT review, "It's... just... Too good." The lane is new, and so is the audience. There's also a mode called Gold Rush, but there's not much to say about it. It's not bad.

+Roster (no score)
There are two new playable ones, and most importantly everyone you'd expect there to be. Jinpachi still isn't playable (in a legit way), that would have been AWESOME in single player modes.

+Sound 9.3 / 10.0
Sounds mostly just like Tekken 5, but most of the (great) music is new, as well as the guy who says "Get ready for the next battle".

+Value 10.1 / 10.0
Available as a platinum release for a laughable (ha-hah-a) price, meaning that there is no excuse to leave this on the shelf. If you have a psp, obviously.

And the BAD things:

-The only (though minor) complain about DR is that the Tekken 5 characters have the same prologues, epilogues and cutscenes as in Tekken 5.
