Tekken 4 is a decent fighting but it's many flaws make Tekken Tag Tournament a better alternative. It's first thing that's going to strike you in the face is totally small character roster as opposed to Tekken Tag. On the plus side this is the first tekken game to introduch the feature where you can smash your enemies into the walls allowing for interesting combos but this can be a bad thing as there are some glitches in the wall system that can allow for combos that otherwise wouldn't be performable. The sound here is still spot on as every crunch after crunch feels (and looks) painful. Character animations are smooth and fluid. The Tekken Force mode presented in this game is a little more varied than the Tekken 3 version but still drags on a bit. Tekken 4 is a good fighting game but it's total lack of characters, decent bonus modes and other things that other Tekken games have make it very flawed but as with all Tekken games is still very good fun with mates in multiplayer mode.
