TMNT: Tournament Fighters is one of the best SNES games i've reviewed so far. Even though the gameplay is 2D, you can still appreciate some of the characters you know so well and some that you havent heard of at all. Although the style of gameplay maybe 3rd rate, but the entire concept of how it applies to how the SNES's graphics work really blends. Some of my "pet peeves" about this game is the voice acting and how they call out their attacks. For example, look at 1 of Don's attack: Whenever his swords cross each other, it seems like he's saying "Shining Colors"; if you ask me, there was nothing "colorful" about their idea of voice acting for their attacks. Anouther is that they dont do enough voice acting for parts that dont involve combat, all you see is mouth's moving w/ the text bubbles, but no sound; it kind of reminds me of all of the Pokemon games their were in the Gameboy series. Overall, however, Tournament Fighters is a satisfying game for anyone who enjoys a good "Streetfigher-esque" game and for anyone who enjoys playing SNES game's for a living.
