A unique and amazing shooter. No one should miss out on playing this game.

Sadly, I have only gotten into playing TF2 in the end of 2011. I just simply never got around to playing it. As soon as I downloaded it and started to play it, I fell in love with this game. Team Fortress 2 is one of the best multiplayer shooters out there on the market. And the best part is that it's free.

I don't know where to start with this review. There are many good things to touch upon. When you start up a game, the first thing you'll see are the many different classes at your disposal. You'll have a medic, the heavy, sniper, spy, and more. Each one of these classes are VERY different from each other, giving players so many different ways to play this game. Yet, there is no overpowered class out of the lot. Each one has their own use in a match. Each class feels strong enough to be played, and this makes the game extremely fun, as you can switch play styles during the game, and still feel like you can do something.

Once you get past that, the artstyle will hit you like a ton of bricks. It's over the top cartoon style oozes charm as you play it. I couldn't stop smiling my first day playing this game. Team Fortress 2 proves that you don't need a giant poly count, or super high res textures for the game to look pleasing to the eyes.

There are many different game modes to choose from in TF2, all with their own objectives to accomplish, but all of them share the same gun play. This game is a very unrealistic shooter. You shouldn't be expecting a BF3 type of game here. Just because it isn't realistic doesn't mean it doesn't require teamwork, far from it actually. The different classes require your team to have some of each, so you can beat the other team by completing the objectives. One person cannot solo and win the game by themselves. As I said earlier, there are many different ways to play in this game, it's hard to describe them all right here in this small review. The only thing I'll say is that the gunplay feels very smooth and "right" if that makes sense. The way you get extra items for your classes is simply either buy paying for them, or by playing and randomly getting them overtime.

Overall, this is one of the best online shooters you can play today. Everything is extremely balanced, and it's simply fun. If you aren't playing it, you should be, afterall, it doesn't cost a cent to try.
