great game, but not a lot of content

tatsunoko vs capcom, while has a wonderful roster and robust characters, doesn't have quite enough content to get me to keep coming back for more. All of the characters and moves are very well balanced, with the exception of a the two giants and the chain grab move that can be used with the ptx-40a. I enjoyed spending a few hours trying out new combos and assists, and worked my way up to a 80 hit combo (tatanucal!) with the hyper combo switch's in a row, which felt like a wonderful achievement. while you will find the entirety of TvC to be quite enjoyable and without annoying glitches or punishing difficulty, the lack of reward for playing through arcade mode with each character (you can only unlock 5 fighters and one bonus minigame, everything else is just game art and different colors for your fighters). all in all, this is an extremely fun game, but maybe not worth 45-50 dollars for just arcade, survival, time attack, 2 player vs, and no story to go through.
