Wow, I see that some online stores in the US actually dared to charge full price for this horrible game, at least some stores in the UK had the right idea, price it cheap...LY, you see, I still don't think it was worth the low price I paid for it. I guess I would have been furious had I actually paid like 50 bucks for it or something. But the first impression was decent, gargantuan monsters rampaging cities and you're some guy, or gal in a tank trying to destroy them all, it's a cool premise, and yeah, I'll admit I did have some fun in the beginning but man did boredom settle in quickly. Problems, first, the controls, they work well enough I guess but why can't you move the turret or shoot sideways or backwards? You only shoot what's more or less right in front of you. Second, unlocking new tanks is a chore, I wanted to at first, to complete it 100%, but you need something like 700 medals or something, you get 1, ONE medal for finishing each level with a new tank, it's going to take forever to accomplish. Thirdly, the game is ridiculously repetitive, okay, so some of the bosses can be marginally entertaining to battle, then they repeat them again and again, I will say the last one, the emperor or whatever he was called was kind of fun to defeat, but still, this is an incredibly boring game, the multiplayer can be fun for a while, you can take images of yourself and use them to highlight tanks or to use them as the face of a giant robot gorilla. The game does not look impressive either, even worse, the framerate goes to hell sometimes during massive destruction and explosions. The music is not good, and there's this obnoxious voice yelling stuff like "bullseye" constantly, love those 1-2 seconds of silence when you're not shooting. There's no story, I would say it has no replay value, sure you can get all the tanks and upgrade them to their full potential, but why in the world would you want to? I finished the game, the 36 missions, which are all fairly easy provided you use the right tanks, which one did I use again? The "Hunter", "Munter"? Something like that, anyway, that's it, I've had enough and I doubt I'll return to play it again, maybe for some multiplayer. So again, a few, very few moments of brief fun can't save this from being a really boring game.
