Entertaining for kiddos - for adults unmotivating and too easy.

User Rating: 5.5 | Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop 2 DS
The visuals of the game are cute and interesting and character design nothing short of peculiar, but unfortunately there's very little content for adult gamers.

There are 12 minigames, or shops, in the game. In each shop you must cater to a line of customers. The various tasks consist of such things as making flower bouquets or cleaning cars. It takes less than 15 seconds to get a grasp of each task and get cracking with it. After you have finished with the requests of enough many customers, a princess will appear and offer to fund an upgrade on your shop. With each upgrade you will be able to unlock a couple of items for your Tamagotchi. After some upgrades, new stores will be made available for you to work in and the cycle continues. You will upgrade the stores as long as you wish to unlock items.

The game mechanics are the same as in the previous game and even some of the shops are basically the same (such as the bakery or flower shop). None of the shops will grant you any real challenge. Some of the tasks are more enjoyable than others, but basically the level of difficulty is the same as washing your own dishes. If you are a grown, adult person, I suggest that you find your stimulation elsewhere. I'm pretty sure that the contents of your sink will prove more worthy of spending time on.

I'd say that this game would make as a splendid Christmas or birthday present for child under the age of 10, but adults - steer away!
