I thought Secret of Mana had bad Ai in combat! This game is Olympic Gold Medal Worthy! I bought this game on a whim from Gamestop. I LOVED Tales of Symphonia for Gamecube and heard great things about the "Tales" series as a whole, but this title is almost UNPLAYABLE! The third character does NOTHING in battle! NOTHING! I tinkered with the "Strategy" menu to no avail. It didn't matter who I put in the third slot, they became complete potatoes once they were there. This made the game extremely difficult with only two characters to use! Did NO ONE beta test this game!? Even if you love the Tales series, just skip this one! It doesn't matter how good the story may be, an unplayable game is still unplayable. On another note, why is this game "Four players"? Seriously, what group of people would sit there and watch someone else play an RPG just to pick up a controller during combat? There's just so many GOOD Four player games out there. Just why? They could have programmed in a Turn-Based Option or made the Ai better! It wanted to be like the Star Ocean series. It's so obvious! But what Star Ocean had was GOOD Ai and a Multi-Player Combat Arena! Do NOT buy this game! You will be disappointed! Also, no option to play with the Japanese Audio? Really game? Milla's voice actress is barely tolerable.
