It got good...but then it ended

User Rating: 5 | Tales of Symphonia: Ratatosk no Kishi WII
Tales of Symphonia 2 is just a game then is going to make a lot of money because of the words Tales of Symphonia. The original was an amazing game. This game fails to be anything more then random cameos by old characters.

Gameplay 6.0
The fighting is not so bad. It would be perfect if they added some features with the wii remote. There are some mini games but they are either too hard or too easy. Not to mention the world map is gone

Characters 3.0
Emil was just a whiny little emo boy. Of course with his split personality, he goes from being a homicidal maniac to being a shy 5-year-old boy. Martha is just a little bit too annoying. She obsesses over Emil way too often and don't let me start on how much i wanted to punch the T.V screen when Tenebrae came on.

Graphics 8.0
Graphics are great. The cut scenes really have some good effects and they have added a lot of new backgrounds to battles.

Sound 5.5
The music was mixed in from the original symphonia a bit, which is okay but the music never really was anything to brag about. The voice acting is pretty low. I must admit i like Lloyds new voice better than his original

Story 2.5
Where did all of this stuff come from? When they made the original Symphonia they must have really thought that they were not going to have a sequel. All of this new stuff about Lloyd becoming bad is just unreal

Overall 5.0
The first 2 hours were just so depressing listening how horrible of a main character Emil was. The next 15 hours were just going back to old places and having the old characters make cameos. They last 5 hours got me on the edge of my seat like I had been waiting for it forever. Then its over
