Possibly one of the greatest tales games. however no english translation.
You play as Vague a young man who has grown close to a girl named claire. He imprisoned her in ice for many years as his 'force' went out of control and felt guilty ever since. when Mao and Eugene show up to help and release her. She ends up getting kidnapped. You set out on a journey to find out why these people kidnapped her and how important she is. Im not going to spoil the story but i possibly found it to be one of the best RPG stories ever. And why not import? i mean it is for the PSP now which is region free and there is a translation on youtube thanks to Lanyn. BUY IT.
-GAMEPLAY-
changes from the usual tales gameplay uses 3 planes and u can switch across. still the same techs and stuff but your TP is split into four parts and each part slowly refills over time. the down side to the battle system is no healing spells thats right you heard NO HEALING SPELLS. However you can get yoour health back by using techs and even by over people using them.
-GRAPHICS-
Amazing 2-D sprites. they are beautiful and i love staring at them.
-MUSIC-
The soundtrack is decent like every other tales game but no particular tunes stuck out for me on this one.
-OVERALL-
This is a must buy game for any tales fan. it was sadly never released in the U.S or Europe, but thanks to several translations its friendly to play. I dont understand Japanese and i finished it fine. so go ahead and buy it.
