I haven't tried very hard yet, but I was wondering if anyone knew the best/easiest way to get their hands on this game today, it's before my time and I always wanted to play it

Ebay might be your best option, no one else seems to stock it. Checked GOG, Steam and Origin (EA owns the IP as far as I know). I have been trying to get my hands on a original boxed copy for years! I have had no luck.

Both System Shock games are awesome though. I played thru Shock2 a few years ago again. The closest modern game would of course be Bioshock, Ken Levine and many of the guys from Looking Glass worked on Bioshock. And is good as Bioshock is... Shock2 is 10 times better!

Best I could find is... http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00004XRBM/ref=dp_olp_0?ie=UTF8&condition=all

Awesome! Thanks so much! I have been trying for years to get an original copy! Would have prefered a boxed copy, but this will do:)

I see you can get Shock2 of Steam now as well, for $ 9.99

It is amazing how playable this game still is... 14 years later!

Still a few old games I really want, some are on GoG, but the one I really want isn't. That would be Wizardry 8!

SInce I am truly dissapointed by today's gaming industry I managed to scavange parts and build myself a vintage PC for free just to play the great old games. You can do it too, there's a lot (and I mean A LOT) of old PCs and parts people are just throwing away. Anyway, SS2 is truly one of the great games worth playing.

This is a great game. Mostly forgotten nowadays but still an amazing gaming experience. If you are a real gamer you have to try it. Ih have been playing it on and off pretty much since it was released (man, that was a long time ago). I would give it a 9 out of 10.
