Almost real... but not.

User Rating: 8.5 | Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror PS2
In Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror you play as Gabe Logan, except in three missions where you play as Lian Xing, and Gary "Stone" Stoneman. The goal of the game is to take down a terrorist group operating under Project Dark Mirror.

There are 23 missions in story mode each with three different difficultly settings. There are 5 bonus missions to unlock by improving your stats and completing missions. Although the story line is good it seems short, it still is fun to play missions over again, but they do get repetitive because the terrorists are always in the same places.

The missions rage from stealth, hostage situations and all out gun battles. The missions take you all over the world including Alaska, Finland, and Bangkok. With over 60 usable weapons from Desert Eagles & shotguns to grenades & knives the weapons are nearly endless all with different properties.

Finding "hidden evidence" in the missions unlocks concept art, audio files, and bonus movies all about that level design.

The graphics make the game seem almost real, with barely any noticeable glitches. When you are playing on of the Alaskan missions you can actually see the character's breath.

There is no mulitplayer opinions in Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror, too bad.

Watch the credits all the way through and after they are over there is a bonus movie, (this is the only way to see the movie).
