Great visuals, good sound effects. Very unique game play and it actually feels like the song are relevant.

I can't say enough about this game. When I saw the preview trailers I was instantly hooked. I actually bought Beat Hazard to tide me over and this game blows it out of the water. Like Beat Hazard this game uses your music to form the battlefield. How ever Symphony actually feels more like the music is altering the course of the game. If you play a fast heavy metal song expect the game to be much more intense. On top of this there are unlockable weapons, rare weapons, upgrades, unlockable power-ups, and 6 difficulty levels which you will need all the unlockable to compete at. Every so often you will encounter a Demon boss that you need to defeat based on the games premise that your music is under attack. The demon battles can be difficult and you may find altering the combination of weapons on your ship may be the difference between winning and losing. Symphony never fails to keep things fresh and challenging. At the time of this writing it does have a few issues, none of which are a fault of the game it self just minor technical issues with crashes and freezing. The developer has already been working on the forums and released new versions attempt to work out the bugs. All in all this is a great game to pick up and be hard to put down. And if you are going to listen to your music any way why not make it even better with Symphony.
