Does SWAT on PSP live up to it's small hype?...Not so much, but it's worth a go to see this PC game go handheld.

Although the game plays nothing like what you would see on the PC verisons, it's not too bad. Then again thats not to say it's not too good either. Come to think of it, the only thing which i can relate from this game compared to the PC version is having the ability to command your team to do different actions, some are pointless because you can do them yourself but others work well for a more strategict option to handling enemies i guess.

To quickly wrap things up, if your looking for a good action-shooter game then is not it. It might take some time to warm up to but if i could compare SWAT to another PSP game then i would say it's most like 50 Cent: Bulletproof G Unit Edition, same level process but only difference is you have a SWAT team by your side at all times and the run and gun style of play is slowed down so you don't kill any civilians and stay sharp on trying to arrest enemies rather than just shooting them all(which in some cases can lose you points on levels, weird but it happens!?).

Overall, it could have been a solid game with a little more hard work put in with different game modes.
