Now if your not familiar with the SWAT series then it may take time for you to get use to the game. This game series has always been a paced game where you are take your time on your approach and use all your equipment to try and subdue the terrorists and secure hostages and evidence. Now some say the the action is slow but its actually sets at a nice pace. For a handheld game of SWAT it places you in a nice perspective of how actual Law enforcement forces do there stuff in real life. You use mirrors to look under doors or corners. Place c4 charges to raid a room or have your team toss in flashes or gas grenades and then raid the room with shouts that SWAT members actually use and so do other law enforcement. At times itll seem llike the enemy is ready to lay down there weapons or incappacitaded but they may decide to recooperate and go for the gun again, so you must restrain all before your shot in the back or point blank...As you go through the game you unlock more weapons and slots for equipment. You carry up to 3 weapons too. Main lethal, none lethal (such as taser gun from cops...) and secondary lethal aka sidearm. The controls arent too bad but they do need some gettin use too but in all its right. The levels themselves are nicley done too and a good amount of time is spent gettin through theml. It can be a tough game becasue it is possible for the enemy to rush you and have 6 or so guys firing at you all at once but thats what cover is for. Gettin into a hail fire of bullets can leave you and your team in a tight spot where you must react quick to move or take aim steadily. For fans of SWAT you will all enjoy this game for it takes you back and for those who are new give it a try and youll be glad you gave it a shot. Replay value is high for those who like this game!!!
