Just too much without feeling like you have any control...

First off, I'm a big fan of complex games. Hearts of Iron, AGEODs Civil War, EU, Crusader Kings...

That being said, this game is almost unplayable. The manual gives you almost no guidance and the lack of anything resembling a tutorial kills you. If perhaps they had shown you how to even do the simplest things, it would help.

There's nothing wrong with including micro managing features. Hundreds of them. So long as you know the tools to control them, and this game is sorely lacking. You get the feeling you have almost no control.

Unlike Hearts of Iron, which is extremely straight forward in your controls and yet you are doing much the same thing, managing a nation.

Adding items like buildings for military, resources, research, etc, but lacking the proper "city building" tools is something you can't overlook, and they did. Things as simple as moving a unit instead of being simple, become a long drawn out process.

Sorry, horrible, horrible game. Could have been a lot better. I'm not talking "dumbing down" cause that's not the issue, the issue is the interface is mostly terrible and nothing makes logical sense.
