Maybe more strategy than in chess.
The good parts about the game are:
Each faction has an advantage and an disadvantage to work on.
Extreme depth in game so you will no doubt loose yourself playing it.
Everything is huge, units, maps and last and defiantly not least the explosions.
Very nice looking graphics.

The bad parts about the game are:
The game is not a cheap one regarding performance. It likes to eat Frames Per Second (FPS) like the best candy ever.
The nukes have been downgraded. A complete setback.
I do dislike though that most people rush towards tech 3 and start building experimental units right away. There should be a no-rush tech level option so people could not go up a tech level before the timer went down to zero.
Anyway. Overall: Awesome game, defiantly a must buy for strategy junkies like myself. :)
