Superman 64 supersucks! Thats all there is to say about it.
PROS: The game offers multiplayer.
CONS: Horrible Graphics. Horrible Controls. Horrible Camera. Poor Level Design. Horrible Everything! The worst ending ever.
Lex Luthor trapped Supermans friends in a virtual world, and he must rescue them. What does Superman have to face in this world? Rings...RINGS! The game starts with, and even has all the way out the game, rings that you have to fly. And you got a time limit, that is very unforgiving. Making the game extremely difficullt. But thats not all, controlling Superman the right way would be an accomplishment, the controls are sensitive, way too sensitive up to the point of controling Superman when flying.
Thankfully, there are some levels that don't have rings, but they're even worse! First of all, the camera, is horrible, and will go off target of Superman easiliy, second, the level design is poor, i would expect something a bit more challenging, but the level design is easily layed-out, too bad the rest of the game is hard, thanks to the god-awful controls, the awful camera, and enemies that take too much damage off of you, even on Easy mode.
EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS ISN'T WORTH YOUR TIME, i rather play Bomberman: ActZero, and thats a newer, or...heck, E.T was better than this, and thats an even older game, it came out in 1982, Superman 64 came out in 1999! They can't even make a good game by that time, then woah, game developers still haven't learned their lesson yet.
Is there any good out of this game? ANY?! Well, theres Multiplayer, plug in a second controller, tie your friend to a chair, and force him/her to play it with you, only to have the game FREEZE UP 10 minutes later.
Playing thorugh the whole game ain't worth, because you don't get a good ending, it ends in the most insulting way, and just laughs in your face.
Can you believe they had a PS1 port planned, i look at it, and i said "WHY COULDN'T WE HAVE THAT GAME!?" We allways get the worst. Well, i hope your happy. Titus Interactive.
