Superman returns ... I think not return anything, the only thing that returns are errors, bugs and poor quality.
The game has to do directly with the story of the movie, and you must guide the character to defeat enemies totally different from the movie, meaning that the relationship between game and the movie or the comic is little or no.
The general aspects show that the game is not good, and has a real lack of graphic quality, innovation and other aspects that the game should contain at least if it want to be recognized, and the truth does not.
Presentation of the game (3/10): This game is presented in an almost empty, where there is no correlation between playable stages, where everything seems a product of chance, there is a whole thread that the player can get on with satisfaction, no because of things, everything looks without cause.
Gameplay (5/10): There seems to be a complete linkage between the remote control buttons and actions that can be developed as usable Superman has many powers, and also can fly at high speed and height, however this is not enough, the player gets bored after a few minutes, and has no experience in a game worthy of action.
Graphics (4/10): Details of the textures are terrible, and you can notice that when approaching the ground. Models of buildings and cars are like a game made five years ago, the city is completely flat, also include the large amount of glitches you have, there is no proportion between the powers that Superman uses and effects, plus the animations are primitive and unrealistic. The only thing added is the effect given to fly and soar over the city. It also has serious problems of aliasing.
Sound (6/10): The sounds seem to be in good condition, such as deep voices and some other bills eligible. The music is worthy of heroic movies, sound effects are repetitive, although they are good.
Something that sum is the soundtrack, is very good, and if you're a fan of the movie you should listen.
Innovation (3/10): If you can talk about innovation, this game failed in their attempts to make a minimal trend toward superhero genre, but fortunately, is not the only game of this genre, I think that the series "best" have been adapted to video games have been Batman and Spiderman, but still have a long way to improve.
Personally I think it's a game that would not return to play, and I regret it, because if you really want to play a game of superheroes more or less worthy, try the Batman saga, especially batman arkham asylum.
While Superman comics were a success, the game was quite the opposite.
I think this was one of the worst deliveries of EA games, and one of the few installments of the saga superman, that seems to come to an end, or maybe not, anyway there will be kept alert about new games genre.
In conclusion, I would not recommend this game under any circumstances, and would suggest other similar games that can be easily replaced, the lack of argument, and the poor quality of the basic aspects mentioned above, this game took a deserved failure.
