Super Smash bros .: a fighting series that debuted in the far-off 1999 for Nintendo 64, upsetting the normal patterns of the fighting genre. In the years to come he has shown that he knows how to evolve and innovate in incredible and surprising ways, with Super Smash Bros. Melee, released in the years 2001-2002, but above all with Super Smash Bros. Brawl, released in 2008, and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, released in 2014. The latter, in particular, was released for a Nintendo console, the Wii U, which unfortunately did not have the success it deserved, obviously due to the misunderstanding of most of the public more than anything else regarding its functionality than for its flaws in itself, but it is known that all consoles are certainly not free from defects. As a result Super Smash Bros. for Wii U has sold far fewer copies than its predecessor Brawl. But in spite of everything, the Wii U chapter, together with the equally excellent Brawl, has succeeded in joining all the best fighting games of all time, as well as all the best video games of all time, due to the incredible quantity and quality and fun that even today is able to offer. Now, after the arrival on the market of the Nintendo Switch, the new Nintendo console that has received a great worldwide success, almost comparable to that of the Nintendo Wii, thanks to its hybrid nature that allows you to play freely both at home in TV mode, and away from home in portable mode and in the new table mode, both with connected controllers and disconnected from the tablet, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has arrived. The new chapter of the series, exclusively for this fantastic hybrid console, which probably has become the fastest sold one. A well deserved success, considering that it has proved to be one of the best exponents of the series and of the genre, as well as the chapter with the greatest number of characters ever introduced all together in a single chapter, and obviously one of the best videogames ever, for the following reasons.
