you cannot go wrong with this, if you have a Pro Controller (or you're into that new imitation GCN controller)! Tons of rewards, unlockables (unlike Mario Kart 8 Deluxe), music, levels, etc. and unlike the issue of Wii U vs 3DS, no cross-platform issues! Also, the campaign mode is legit.
