A Surprisingly Awesome Addition to the Franchise

User Rating: 9 | Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS 3DS
Everyone was expecting Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 3DS to be just a taste of what the highly anticipated Wii U version would be. And, while it still kind of was, the 3DS version holds up surprisingly well as its own game. The character roster is phenomenal and the stages, while there aren't as much as the Wii U version, are extremely fun and unique. It could have had an even greater selection if there were less recycled stages and more original stages. The balance in the game is very good and the classic mode is extremely fun. One thing that this version has over its counterpart is Smash Run. The Wii U version includes an extremely boring, frustrating, and confusing added Game Mode called Smash Tour. Yet the 3DS's version is superb compared to that pile of poop. In the end, this game is very well done and extremely fun, even if it isn't as good as the Wii U version. Smash and Smash Run will undoubtedly keep you occupied for hours on end.
