A well-crafted game that deserves a sequel!

User Rating: 10 | Super Princess Peach DS

For the most part, Princess Peach has had the UNFORTUNATE distinction of being captured, kidnapped, abducted, marooned, imprisoned, stranded, jailed, and locked up by Bowser over the course of two decades. But in "Super Princess Peach," it's finally HER turn to turn the tables and save the day! Tired of always losing to Mario and Luigi, Bowser has kidnapped them BOTH and has taken several Toads hostage as well! But Princess Peach is NOT going to let Bowser get away with this, and she doesn't have to! With the help of her new, Magical, talking Parasol called Perry; Princess Peach can change her abilities and access different powers! When she gets sad, her tears can cause magical plants to sprout and grow to giant heights, helping her access places she couldn't before. When she gets MAD, flames surround her, burning obstacles and many enemies in her path. When she feels as light as air, she can use Parry to catch powerful wind currents, and soar to new heights and lengths! And when she gets hungry, she eats a delicious cake and can regain health. There are eight levels to get through, with well-designed stages, filled with good graphics, sound, music, controls, and memorable levels that Nintendo is well-known for having. Although a sequel for this game has been floating around as an idea for the Nintendo 3DS has been floating around since 2012, it has yet to materialize. If this game proves anything, it's that Princess Peach is just as capable and just as able of holding her own against Bowser and his army of loyal goons!
