What is there really to say about Super Mario World? To say that it's a great game simply based on its exhuberant colors and graphics or its outstanding musical score would not even begin to scratch the surface of why this game will always be a remembered classic. The game is appealing to those of all ages simply because it is.....well....simple. I have never played a game with so much replay value in my entire life. I have probably beaten this game at least a dozen times and even now...sitting here writing this review...I am fiending to make another run-through. If someone claims to be a "gamer", but hasn't played Super Mario World, then take it from me that this person has no idea what it means to be a "gamer". All of us that have been playing video games since before we learned to walk will always remember the appeal of Super Mario World and how we wanted to stay home from school just to beat the next level. Nothing else can be said about this classic, other than when you play it for the first time, you will understand why Nintendo fans are so loyal.
